ADD and ADHD

There are several different types of ADD and ADHD. After a careful screening and interview, a diagnosis can be made that directs the type of therapy used, usually without the need for medications. In many cases attention focus is temporarily corrected within the first session, but it usually takes a brief series of sessions to correct it long-term. ADD is often the consequence of underlying trauma, dysfunctional families of origin, nutritional issues, etc.
